Not Going to Hebron 9, TCHS, or any other LISD school next year? Please let us know your future plans in order to prevent your student from showing up as a drop-out in the state of TX by completing the form titled 'Intent to Move over Summer' which can be found in the Forms and Documents section below. A copy of this document can also be picked up in the office at any time. The form should be returned to the office in person, via fax, or email.

Doctor Appointment Reminder: If you leave for a Doctor’s appointment, you MUST bring the Doctor’s note back with you, or have it sent to the school within three days of the absence or the absence will be unexcused. (see Truancy Intervention Information found below for more details on how unexcused absences can affect you and your child.) It is the parent's responsibility to ensure attendance procedures are being followed. Please utilize Skyward and its many creative uses of texts, emails and phone calls to alert you of any changes to attendance and/or grades.

You can always have the doctor’s office fax the doctor note directly to KMS at 214.626.1714. :)

Admit Slips: When a student misses more than ten minutes of any scheduled class, then the student should stop by the attendance office to pick up an admit slip. An admit slip serves two purposes: 1) allows student to turn in the parent/doctor note pertaining to the absence so it is excused, allowing them to get and return make-up work and 2) gives the student a 'pass' in the mornings and after school to be in the hallways, going to their missed classes to ask for make-up work. Make-up work should be requested from teachers before or after school only, and not during the school day.
